Ducas Construction was formed to provide Southern Maine and Northern New England with construction management services where integrity, transparency and quality are our core ethics.

We believe that a successful project is defined as much by the collaborative process, planning and execution as it is the end result. Patrick Ducas: Owner

Patrick Ducas is the owner and president of Ducas Construction. Patrick has over 20 years of construction experience from both the commercial and high-end residential markets. He started his career in the field and quickly progressed to project management, giving Patrick a thorough understanding and knowledge base to apply when managing projects.
Patrick is actively involved in the estimating, coordination, pre-construction, management and execution of every project contracted to Ducas Construction. It is Patrick’s goal for Ducas Construction Inc to provide the highest quality service and results on every project they undertake.

Jo Lorenson: Chief Human Resources & People Officer

Jo is a Coastal, Southern Maine native having lived most of her life here. She joined our team in March 2022, with human resources leadership, specifically focused on recruiting, developing, and retaining employees. Jo’s more than 20-year career growing the “Human Capital” of large, national, and international commercial construction companies, utilized her Human Resources degree from the University of Phoenix, and her “Head Hunting & Recruiting” training from Management Recruiters International, (MRI). Jo continues her passion- “Hunting for the best talent in the commercial construction business”.

Dale Daggett: Senior Project Manager/Estimator

Dale Daggett, formerly N.S. Giles Estimator and Project Coordinator, joins Ducas Construction with an extensive background of more than four decades in Concrete Construction. Dale’s expertise in Project Management, Estimating, Purchasing, Operations Leadership, and Relationship Development spans his entire career. Dale formally sat on the Board of Directors for ABC, Northeast Precast Concrete Association and brings to Ducas many well established and valuable relationships. When Dale isn’t spending dawn till dusk hard at work, as he’s always done in his career, he enjoys dining out, yard work, home improvement projects and vacationing anywhere there is white sand and palm trees.

Bill Pearson: General Superintendent

Bill’s career started in the late 70’s as a hard rock miner in the remote mountains of Arizona where one had to be a jack of all trades and learn to adapt and adjust on the fly and make do with what you had. In 1980, he moved the Maine where he began in construction putting those hard-learned lessons to work on residential and commercial projects. Bill has supervised a variety of projects from luxury condo construction in downtown Boston, to remote island construction on Mount Desert Island to a variety of commercial office, residential and retail buildings. Outside of work, Bill enjoys building furniture in his wood shop, travelling with his son and doing both landscape and street photography.

Mike Kelly: Senior Superintendent

Mike brings a strong foundation of experience with over 21 years in the construction industry. Mike’s construction experience began with The Thaxter Company, in Maine, where he learned the value of quality workmanship, communication and exceptional customer service. After moving to Maine in 1997, Mike worked on many commercial projects and luxury homes while fine tuning his ability to manage the safety and operations of a jobsite. Mike joined the Ducas Construction family and is known for his ability to build strong relationships resulting in extremely satisfied clients. In his free time, Mike is spending time with family and friends relaxing, fishing, at the lake and ocean.

Craig Mortenson: Superintendent

Craig came to Ducas Construction with 11 years of building high-end residential projects in New Hampshire. In 2016 Craig relocated to Maine and joined the Ducas Construction team and is currently a Superintendent. Craig’s focus on the job is to ensure that staff and subcontractors are on site producing quality craftsmanship while doing so in a safe and timely manner. In May 2020, Craig will be graduating from ABC’s Annual Young Professionals Program. Outside of work, Craig enjoys camping, golfing and spending time with his family.

Wayne Simoneau: Superintendent

Wayne joined Ducas Construction, Inc., in May 2022. He brings his passion for building that started when he enrolled in the carpentry program while he was in high school. After graduation Wayne worked for a small home building company in his hometown in Connecticut. A new job opportunity brought him to Maine building energy plants, for Zern Nepco. After several years in Maine, Wayne transitioned into working primarily on larger commercial builds which include Bowdoin and Bates Colleges, Lewiston Courthouse, The Cross Insurance Arena’s, and The Helipad at Maine Medical Center, while at N.S. Giles. With 40 years of experience Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge to us here at Ducas Construction. Wayne enjoys spending time outdoors, going motorcycling, jet skiing, and snowmobiling.

Sam Burrell: Project Manager

Sam is a Maine native, growing up in Cumberland, where much of his family still resides. Sam holds a degree in Movement and Sports studies from Springfield College, as well as minors in Health and Coaching. Before joining the Ducas team Sam owned and operated several Fitness facilities throughout New England. Since coming aboard Ducas Construction Sam spend time hands on, in the field assisting in the completion of several projects. He has since made the move from the Jobsite into the office. Outside of work, Sam enjoys travel and outdoor activities with his wife and puppy.

Annie Tremaine: Project Manager

Annie came to Ducas Construction with 8 years of experience building commercial projects in Texas after getting her degree in Construction Management from Texas State University. In 2021 Annie relocated to Maine and joined our team in 2022 as a Project Manager. She brings with her a can-do attitude and a passion for building lasting client relationships by thinking outside the box to deliver projects on time and within budget. Annie is involved in estimating and pre-construction as well as project coordination and management. When not working Annie enjoys spending time with her four dogs and exploring Maine as she gets to know her new home

Cameron Campbell: Assistant Project Manager

Cameron came to Ducas Construction from Bath Iron Works in the Spring of 2022. While Cameron was at BIW he worked as a Weight Control Engineer and a Technical Point of Contact for the NAVY overseeing compartment changes on the DDG 51 Class Destroyers. In 2018, he graduated from UMO with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career working in Southern Maine. Cameron’s experience in landscaping, stonework, excavation, painting, wood kilns, and ship building brings him to Ducas Construction with a diverse set of skills that help him accomplish project objectives and goals. Cameron’s free time includes camping with his wife, Marissa, building his company Dirigo Earthwork, tinkering in the garage, and riding anything motorized.
